I contacted people around, told me that ELX katalyzorem exhaust was too expensive (600 zł) so nobody made any benefit producing it, since EL exhaust works and is cheap, hence the fact is nowhere to be found. Domage - 2015-04-17, 21:29 Yes that's true. Catalitic convertor is no longer available, anywhere. Honestly i never saw any to buy. Why you searching for that type of exhaust ? Any problems with emission control ?

Exactly. I wanted to check if it was doable to register a maluch from around 93 in western countries. A car produced in 93 needs to pass euro 1 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_emission_standards ) - but only ELX actually pass euro 1, not the FL and not the EL. So it's not possible. You have to wait for the car to be considered as a collection car to be able to import it by the book. xlar1 - 2015-04-20, 16:04 Hi. Even in PL you have no chance to buy a new one as Domage, has written. The only way is to buy good quality part from EL and remove (cut out) the metal pipe that goes into the exhaust mainfold. Unfortunately this solution will not let You pass the emmision control.
I think that there is a possibility to put it to ELX but it's a lot of welding to prepaire new shape of pipes between the mainfold and the catalytic convertor and to the muffler. |
